We are the Tucson chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), the largest socialist organization in the United States. We believe a better world is possible—and we’re organizing right here in Tucson to make it real.
Tucson is a city of deep beauty and deep inequality, shaped by generations of Indigenous communities and historic barrios built through working-class resilience and community. Today, as corporations and wealthy interests continue to concentrate power, working people bear the costs. We’re organizing to change that.
As democratic socialists, we believe that the economy and society should be run by and for the people who make it all work. We are building working-class power through organizing, education, and collective action—fighting for a society where everyone has access to housing, healthcare, dignity, and control over their lives.
DSA is a “big tent” organization open to anyone who shares a commitment to democratic socialism and collective liberation. Across the country, our members are organizing in workplaces, communities, and movements to challenge the power of the wealthy and build something better.
